Pink Mangano Calcite Sphere

Calcite comes in a range of colors, including pink. It's a calcium carbonate crystal that forms huge masses when it solidifies. Microscopic Manganese specks give the pink tone varying from light white-pink to a deep, nearly purplish hue. 

This sphere highlights the banded nature of calcite.  Difficult to photograph, it has various shades and swirls.  1.5" 3.44 oz

The sphere comes with a plain lucite stand, however, we offer pewter, agate, and wood stands.
